Jon Walsh is a songwriter, guitarist and banjo player who brings places and people to life through verse and melody. Drawing on traditional American folk, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, country, rock, and contemporary fingerstyle guitar, his performances blend tall tales, philosophical introspection, nuanced guitar work, and a rich tenor voice.

Raised in rural Maine and now based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, Jon's music reflects his transatlantic journey - including years of street performing from California to Portugal. He has written, recorded, and performed in numerous bands over the years, including 3 current acoustic projects. His solo shows offer an evening of entertainment in the true troubadour style.
